Capal Tunnel Syndrome

Overview

A condition that causes numbness, tingling, or weakness in the hand. It is because of the pressure on the median nerve that runs the length of the arm, goes through a passage in the wrist called carpal tunnel, that ends in the hand. This syndrome also known as median nerve compression.

Causes

The median nerve and tendons are being pressed due to the space in the carpal tunnel in the wrist narrows. It will make them swell, and cut off sensation in the fingers and hand which will cause numbness.
